Badgery’s Creek Visitor Centre – Western Sydney Airport

Savcon were appointed to complete the structural timber element to this landmark building. The Vistor’s Centre features floor-to-ceiling glass panels to give visitors a full view of the ongoing construction at the airport which will be completed in 2026. The facility will also have augmented reality and digital technologies that will provide the public with an immersive experience during their visit. The building design boasts LVL and CLT framing on the roof and wall structure. Corten wall cladding was a new challenge for Savcon and we worked closely with 3D models and renders during the construction phase to achieve excellent craftsmanship. The result is a unique building that Savcon were proud to deliver!
